Nice property in Central San Jose
Spacious room. Large living room space with two armchairs, a TV, and a mini fridge. Beds and pillows are firm in a good way. My daughter and I both slept very well. The room and bathroom were clean with crisp white linens. A large glass bottle of water was provided. As a Hotels.com Silver member, they also brought up a complimentary welcome snack. A mild, sweet tomato salsa, plantain chips, and a bottle of beer on ice. Much appreciated at nearly 1am when we were getting settled in. Impressive breakfast buffet is included in the room price. They have Costa Rican specialties (Gallo Pinto, maduros, guava paste with cheese) and traditional American and European options (scrambled eggs, breakfast meat, roasted potatoes, toast, pancakes, yogurt, deli meat and cheese, fresh fruit, etc.) Available from 6am to 10am daily which was great since we had a couple early morning departures. Coffee and tea is available in the lobby 24/7. They also had some little pastries and bread in the lobby in the morning. There’s a small selection of drinks and snacks for purchase. We ordered room service one of the nights. The food comes from Azotea Calle 7. We got the Arroz con Pollo. It was delicious. I could have skipped the fries, but it seems to be a customary side with this dish. The hotel arranged for a cab to pick us up at the airport. $45 dollars. 20 minute ride at midnight.

Great experience
Property is great - beautiful lobby, rooftop area and great restaurant on premises. Breakfast buffet was amazing! There were chips, salsa and beers waiting in our room upon arrival which was a nice touch. Rooms had living and sleeping area which was comfortable. The one thing I would say is that the parking was not easy to locate without sending someone inside to ask. But once we found parking it was gated and car was safe, hotel staff helped us park and get out of lot safely. The area wasn’t conducive to exploring too far safely if you like to get out and walk around near your hotel. I’d still stay there again - great experience.

Loved this hotel
The lobby and rooftop were quirky and fun. The rooms weren’t decorated to the same level and were quite plain but they were extremely clean, bed was large and comfortable, excellent aircon, and shower had great pressure. As an hotels.com VIP guest we were provided with a handwritten welcome note, plantain chips, salsa and 2 Imperial beers on arrival in our room which was a nice and welcoming touch to our visit. In the morning they had coffee and breaky ready for us before getting an early transfer to the airport at 5.45am. Highly recommend this hotel and would go back. Food, cocktails and the vibe at the rooftop bar were a highlight of our visit, plus the staff were very friendly.

Good location in the center of San Jose
Can walk to all the city center interest points, such as National Theater, Gold museum, National Museum, etc. Also close to all the shoppings. There are a few parking spots but space was very tight. Rooms are large and breakfast was good. Would stay there again
