Terrible room key situation
Tremendous staff working hard to accommodate a key fiasco. the programmed keys rarely worked necessitating two and at times three returns to the desk. Often an employee had to return with guests in our party to try the doors which still didn't work. Even the emergency 911 key couldn't open the door. Very unacceptable and probably dangerous. Often we were forced to leave doors open when leaving to guarantee access to our property or leave a guest behind. Shame on you Hyatt. I thought the Pritzker properties were better managed at the corporate level. You left your hotel employees and property manager to fend for themselves. Researching legal avenues to address this situation.

Service was good. Breakfast was decent. Hotel is located in a very sketchy part of town. Hallways were very dark and carpets were surprisingly disgusting. Stained all the way. Place reeked like smoke- tobacco and weed. TV was missing remote control. Pool was closed and unavailable. There was no restaurant as it was advertised. Fire Emergency Exits didn’t open freely. A true safety concern. Needless to say, we cut our stay short and left. Staff was very friendly. No complaints there.

Don’t trust the photos.
The photos online are deceiving. The hotel is run down, old, and beat up. Walls are damaged, carpet is dirty and ripped, room was musty and smelly, mold on the wall, cobwebs in the bathroom. No shampoo in bathroom, poor lighting.
