Great location
Not only are you walking distance to all the major sites ( 2-3 kms to the Vatican, so you might want to take the Metro, which is right across the street) there also plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby as well. The hotel itself is excellent; clean everything works well( air conditioning totally controllable from your room) and the staff are friendly and helpful

Great place in Rome
It is a lovely small hotel in a very good location within walking distance of most attractions. As we were with a baby they have moved us to a bigger room that was great (room 503) for no extra charge. Breakfast is not excessive but is of good quality and they change some dishes every day and serve graet Cappuchino. But best part are the people which were all doing their best to assist in any way possible.

Wonderful for solo travelers, excellent staff
Amazing location, excellent staff, lovely rooms, nice bathroom with a good bathtub, which is rare. Beautiful breakfast buffet served in a gorgeous room, with full staff attending to guests; all very professional. Bedcovers could use a little updating but it’s still very good. One of the best places I’ve stayed at in Rome. Don’t hesitate to book this. I wanted to see it before I added more days and once I arrived, I made the mistake of not booking more days immediately, and the next day the rate almost tripled.

3 star hotel... service needs improvement!
Cute little “old school Europe” hotel... Should have been great, but some things really let it down! Older man running the bar was awesome, but the bar not opening until 6pm and not being able to order a beer or wine, not even to your room before then is not 4 star hotel standard... no fault of the bar staff rather a management issue! Breakfast was served in the bar and a warren if pokie little rooms which was quaint and cute, but not very practical especially when hotel was busy one of the days... We had to go back to our room and wait for a space to become available... Maybe this could be organised a little better and some pre warning wouldn’t hurt! Our room missed the morning clean twice even tho we were out all day and reception told... I can’t believe it happened the 2nd day also! Again I don’t blame the staff, more a management issue... The staff on the front desk were mostly good... a couple of the morning guys were awesome, but unfortunately the man I had to deal with the most, the afternoon guy was extremely rude! He had no customer service skills what so ever! For me this hotel was a 3 star hotel, with unfortunately management and one key staff member dragging the service down to one star service... a real shame, because I liked the old school style of the hotel and the location was awesome.

Hotel in shopping street
Good location on a shopping street. A 10-min walk to Spanish steps. I booked a single room which is rather small, but still fine for 1 person. The hotel including corridor is luminous which I like the most.

bathroom smell
Hotel is very nice, comfortably situated, but the smell in our bathroom (room 602) was horrible, like a cat toilet
