Staff were nice and helpful but there was a language barrier. I gave room service a $20 and asked for change and she put it in her pocket and said thank you. Surrounding area is in shambles so I feared getting robbed or worse. There are stray dogs on the property and I love dogs but they do bark at you if you approach. I think staff allow them as cheap security but it is intimidating. They are medium size and cute but nobody wants to fear being bitten. It is far from other resorts but you are close to shopping and local restaurants IF you feel safe enough to indulge. I would suggest traveling with a someone -never alone here. There is parking but there was no door to stop people from having access to the vehicles. Also, no gate in the front to anyone can enter property.
Note: Check sliding doors to make sure both sides are locked. I noticed late into my stay that one was open likely the entire time that I was there.
Room have just about anything you need and is beautiful. Water is hot and a good pressure.
