We went for our 20th anniversary!! Walking into a washroom plugged toilet. Then the toilet plugging again. We were told we were upgraded and could get our room downgraded if we weren’t happy with multiple people walking into our room to view the washroom. 3 people to see the first incident. 4 again for seeing a clogged toilet. My husband continuously was promised something special being done for our anniversary. Again given the run around for why it wasn’t done. Concierge is non existent. Checking guys were great. Downhill from there.

Pros: The private beach was fabulous. The water was clear and warm. The food was delicious. Cons: The rooms were dated and not exceptionally clean. The carpet and patio furniture in our room was ragged. I spoke to concierge about my husbands bday, she was going to have our room decorated. It was not. She then called my HB and told him she would have a surprise waiting for him when we returned from dinner (as a make good). There was no surprise. Overall, 4 star at best.

To me the resort is for OLD people who want to go to bed early. I like the saxophonist in the fire pit area at sunset I like the male singer at 9 pm in the fire pit I like the male singer at the piano bar. This is when the kararoke should continue when he is finished singing and everyone is gathered. the disco was lame - sometimes OK but music should be playing in that bar all night. \we could watch TV while the music is going

Great Vacation from arrival in airport: find the Beaches kiosk, and the bus takes you to the resort. We had the bus to ourselves. All inclusive: includes scuba diving. ($20 to look up PADI certification--bring your card!) and $10 per use of wetsuit. water was cold in April, worth the money. Scuba and watersport staff were amazing! we took the sailboat (hobie cats with or without jib) out nearly daily without an escort (one is available if you can't sail). Website says you can row, paddle or sail to the private island--this is no longer allowed. shuttle boat leaves hourly. Food at Schooner's for dinner is great, but you have to wait for the boat to take you back. Piano bar was awesome--Leo is very talented and takes requests! Meals were well prepared and of a high quality. Professional photographers were all over the resort, so I left my phone in my room (wifi was shoddy in many places). They took over 100 photos of me with my husband, a few were even quite good, but at $18 per digital image and with minimal flexibility, the 20 minutes remaining before our bus left the resort were not quite enough to sort through them. Next time I will take my own shots. We really had a wonderful relaxing time. Location was convenient (short ride to the airport). The grounds are very well kept, you hardly feel like you are in a settled urban-ish area if you dont leave the property.

Let me save you some time and money. Avoid this resort! First the check in consisted of giving us a room key, escorting us to our room and handing us a map of the property. No orientation to the resort, no guidance what so ever. Then the room, Motel 6, the room was small, old out dated furnishings, very lack luster. Mold around the tub, they tried to hide it with a poor attempt to caulk over it. The hallway on our floor smelled like vomit. Each day of our stay the smell got increasingly worse. On the third day of our stay our toilet started leaking from the handle. Now the food, have you ever had a microwaved salisbury steak dinner? Well that’s better than their version of a steak. Warm on the outside, COLD on the inside and the same gravy that you would find on a frozen dinner’s salisbury steak. The “grilled veggies”, raw. Not cooked at all, a raw carrot and a piece of raw broccoli. This wasn’t just one meal, it was on par for every meal. The only exception was at the cricketer’s pub, the fish and chips were actually served hot and tasty. The alcohol is definitely watered down. I’m a whiskey drinker and in our room is a “stocked bar”, pour myself a glass of whiskey, sit on the porch to enjoy the sunset. Half a bottle later, no buzz at all. My wife is a light weight, she can sniff a glass of wine and she’s out. She was having drink after drink and it was like she was drinking cool aid. The staff are not friendly, in fact some are down right rude. We will never return

The property was clean and beautiful. The only thing we didn't like was the overbreading of the fish!
