Curate's Egg

First the Good. Arrived early and the excellent team on reception let us book in and store our bags while we went out. On our return rooms where ready. Quick freshen up and out for something to eat. Now the not so Good. When we returned we we found we had a plumbing problem with one of our rooms. Now the Good. After investigation it was decided that we would be given a different room. Big Thank You to the reception manager for resolving it so quickly on a busy Bank Holiday Saturday. Now the Unusual. The Hotel has modern layouts in the rooms, this means the there are no bathroom walls and the Bathroom Sink was the first thing we saw when we opened the door and entered the room. The Shower and Toilet doors are heavy frosted glass but do not provide 100% privacy. Summary The unusual layout was an item for discussion with the family and friends and the privacy surprise was not a generational thing. That aside the Staff, Service, Hotel and Location (Near the Half Marathon start reason for stay) was very nice and we would happily stay again if the opportunity occurs.
