Time travel is real
The building is beautiful and comforting, the staff both friendly and professional. We stayed one night in a Queen Deluxe room, then upgraded to a Guest Suite for two more nights. Both rooms were comfortable and decorated nostalgically, though I must say having a couch to relax on in the suite was preferrable for a winter stay. Breakfast was quite good, and the hotel's location in the middle of town meant we didn't need our car all weekend. We'll be coming back often.

Overall great
Would have liked a few more healthy breakfast option, but everything else was lovely.

Great stay at the Hotel Elliott in Astoria, Or
The hotel Elliott was historic and updated!! We started our west coast stay in Astoria and this was certainly the place to begin, the staff was nice , the beds were wonderful and loved the rooftop area for the view and to relax. It was centrally located to the sights and wished we could have stayed longer

Comfy bed but small rooms...
Noisy elevator, no parking, and easily demagnetized room keys are the major turn offs.

Great proximity, old building, decent rooms
Old building, but has charm. Room was small with fridge but no microwave. Queen bed seemed smaller than a queen usually is. Bed had alot of movement so I could feel everything when my partner moved. The bed was comfortable though. The lobby is nice. The proximity is awesome and is why I always stay at this hotel.
