2/10 Poor

The first room smell like death occurred in there. And it was an icebox with no heat. The Maintenance man was so annoyed he kept swearing and was so mad he had to come and try to fix it he said he was done at 4pm. I asked for a refund and go elsewhere as I prepaid on hotel .com he won’t refund so moved me to a different room, it seem fine at first until nice kept running around. Plus there was mice poop on the kitchen floor and broken glass as well. I called front desk and told him, he laughed and said sorry. I called to get a refund and move, was on the phone for 2 hours to get the second night refunded, still paid full price for the first night, we stayed because it was so late and my kids were asleep and that was the worst sleep I’ve ever had. All around horrible experience and won’t ever suggest that motel to anyone. Unsure why it’s on this platform. I haven’t even mentioned the people who reside there. Let’s say i was certain my vehicle would get broken into.

Needs a face-lift
We had booked a room with 2 double beds. The first one they gave us was used and not cleaned. Then the next room was 2 single beds (not what we wanted). Final room only had one bed. Looks like it could use a major reno. The bed felt as if I'd roll off in the middle of the night. Not a pleasant experience!!

2/10 Poor

I ended up sleeping in my car rather than staying at this property. It was disgusting, dirty and stinky in the room, with stains on the carpet and the sheets. The staff was very unfriendly and I couldn't stay there. I canceled it and since it was so late there was nothing available in the area (it was a holiday weekend) I ended sleeping in my car. I think helth inspection should check on the place and hopefully shut it down.

Horrible motel
It’s the worst hotel I have experienced in my 30 years of traveling. It’s absolutely worse than 1 star hotel, It’s old, rundown, dirty and no maintenance. I won’t stay in this hotel even it’s free. This 90 years old motel should have been bulldozed long time ago. It’s not suitable for human living.

10/10 Exceptional

Amazing gem of a hotel.
This hotel has such unique history and layout. Such a wonderful serendipitous find in the heart of the city. Walking distance to the sky train. Our room could use different flooring (remove the carpet) but we really enjoyed our stay.
