Great location but no fireplaces anymore
Location can't be beat for Yosemite, I love staying here for a quick drive into the park. Great gift/grocery shop for our snacking needs, and the restaurant onsite was delicious. I'm super bummed they don't have real fireplaces anymore even though the website still lists that the rooms have gas fireplaces. I loved coming home from a long day of hiking to the fireplace but now it's a hollographic type picture image of a fire that's replaced the real gas fireplace. I hope they'll update their listings so not to dispappoint others. We asked the staff but the front desk folks were new and didn't seem to be able to help. We also tried the outdoor firepits but couldn't get them to work, maybe they had not been serviced since the recent extreme weather.

All was good except an ant problem in the kitchen. They sent a guy to try to get rid of them but the problem persisted. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

An overnight stay to go to Yosemite with a girlfriend. And I room was wonderful room 2074 are only disappointment was that we were never there during daylight hours, so we did not get to enjoy sitting on the balcony and looking at the river. We loved having the fireplace in the room except when we had it on it smelled like gas so we did not use it again room 2074. May want to check that out.

Couldn't ask for better!
We really enjoyed staying at the Yosemite View! We booked the Family Suite since we were traveling with four adults and two children. There were two very nice rooms, two bathrooms and a kitchenette which worked out perfectly for us. Everything was clean and in good repair. There was a propane fireplace in the main room, which really added to the charm and ambiance and we really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub in our room! The back patio overlooked the Yosemite River, so the view was unbeatable! We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub, and the game room has free play arcade games which my kids LOVED! This was probably one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences I've had and we will definitely be coming back next year!

Great place just outside of the park
The lodge was only 2.2 miles from the entrance to Yosemite. The rate was much lower than the in park hotels. Our room had a great view of the river.

2/10 Poor

I was given a dirty room to start, and then the power went out for the entire night with no heat for any of the rooms.

Great stay near Yosemite NP
Close to the entrance of Yosemite NP on Highway 140. The prices are affordable compared to staying in the park. Wi-Fi is $9.99 per day and can be slow at times. The breakfast cost about $20 and wasn't really worth it. There is a hot tub and game room, both are great after a long day of hiking.

You wanted to sleep? Ha ha ha…
Overall good experience however, for the top tier room… the bed was HORRIBLE. Not sure what happened as we have booked this room two other times in the past. This time, the bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable causing both of us to not get any sleep the entire weekend. It literally feels like a stack of used cardboard.
