8/10 Very good
3 Feb 2023
It's our 2nd time coming to the Hyatt Ziva in Cabo.
Overall, it's a nice place to be for several days. I think they do their best with what they have.
Few things I've noticed:
It must be hard for the workers grinding day after day serving up the abundance we all expect at an all-inclusive. On multiple occasions I saw workers lose their cool. You could tell they're just putting on a face to keep their jobs or keep customers happy. Quesadilla guy in the trailer by the pool was loosing it to the person in front of us. Not sure what the problem was. A server at the italian place was angry, not sure why. I actually asked if everything was alright. It's kinda hard to enjoy yourself when the workers are steaming. It wasn't everyone though. I'd say vast majority were very friendly and seemed happy to be working there.
I think about 50% of what we ordered for dinner came out wrong. Since it takes a lot of time to order food, we didn't want to take the time to send it back so we just ate it.
I wonder if the resort needs to revise things to make it more streamlined. So the workers can just bang it out versus fumbling over and making mistakes. They'd write things down for our order and then bring out different things. Or the workers are just on total cruise control.
Positives:
Pool/hottube area, great for kids and fun place to be. Beach was great.
Food was pretty good.
Fun times!
