Umaid bhawan is one of the best hotels we have stayed. The traditional indian architecture feels like we are in a palace. All the staff were so nice and helpful. I would highly recommend to my friends and family. The breakfast buffet is great and we loved the dosa and omelette stand. I feel like the restaurant for lunch or dinner is little bit expensive.

The suite was very pretty and well appointed. Air conditioning worked well and so did the safe, which were both amenities which I used daily. Towels were old, over bleached and frade. They really need to be replaced. Also, suites on the 2nd floor are right below the restaurant which has some kind of a live show with music nightly from 6:30pm to 10:30pm; so if you are as unlucky as I to get one of these suites forget about ever having a nap. Lastly, I noticed that out of all of the staff that I had contact with, maybe 30 or 40 people, none of them were women. Women deserve the same opportunities as men. Not employing any women states that your management do not follow an equal opportunity work place. In retrospect I can not condone this and would not stay here again.
