Blackcomb Lodge Whistler BC
The room was ok except when we wanted to shower before check out there was no hot water. We were not greeted well when we complained about it. I was told I need to run the water and no one else in the hotel complained. The pool sauna and hot tub were ok but the men’s change room was a filthy disaster. Literally disgusting. They also tried to charge us $34 for parking for each motorcycle, even though they both fit in one spot. The hotel and area was extremely noisy all the time, even at night.

Great location and friendly staff. I would recommend this place except for the cleanliness. The bathtub had mildew and mold all over, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks.

Clean classic in the central village
Clean and cozy. Two night stay during the mid-week. Very secure and convenient location in the central village. We really appreciated our kitchenette and the sofa for a low key evening in. The hot tub was nice, the indoor pool was very cold. Heating and cooling worked well, active ventilation in the bathroom is great.

Spend the extra money somewhere else
Don't stay here... I read the reviews, and I was hoping it was not as bad as people made it out to be. It was. 2 star hotel for sure. Stayed for 6 nights and never had our room cleaned once even after asking multiple times. Kitchenet was bare minimum. Mirror in room was broken. Elevator was very dirty. Insisted on charging 250 CAD when you arrive for damage deposit which I have still not received back and doubt I will. After checking out they said they cannot watch our bags for an hour because they have no room but if you pay 50 CAD they will find room. Who does that? I booked this place hoping it was a cheap no frills Hotel but it was much less.

Not this hotel
Not enough towels were provided for two people and they didn't provide more because they didn't seem to have any.. We were supposed to get a room cleaning every 3 days and they didn't come once in 7 days. Same thing for my sister but they tried to charge her a cleaning fee. And the rooms could have used a good cleaning. It's close to lots of restaurants and the chair lifts and the hot tub was great for a soak at the end of a day of skiing but I wouldn't stay here a second time.

Overall, a decent stay experience with the location being the highlight! However, I wish they were more flexible with check-in and check-out times, especially given their already shorter room duration due to the late check-in and early check-out policies.

Overall good
Overall the suite was good. Clean for the most part but some things to note:
The grout in between the bathroom shower tiles was dirty. Which was a bit of a turn off.
The hallway noise especially doors opening and closing was quite loud as well as the footsteps in suite upstairs but for the most part it was quiet from 12am - 7am

Great location but management make you feel like you are renting in a hostel vs hotel. Treat well paying guests like students. I was there for a conference and they giving us rules. Not something you ever hear from a notable hotel brand.
