Everyone working at the hotel was first rate and wonderful, the establishment was clean and great, I'd go back for sure... there were some material choices in our room for the drawers that had permanent finger prints and stains all over them that was a little off putting at first... but the were clean, just looked dirty.

The W Hotel in Rome is a beautiful hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We were greater by Claudia, at the front desk. She was sweet, friendly, and professional. The concierge host (forgot name) looked like Joe Manganiello. He was very nice and he assisted us many times on our stay. The room is a little small (based on US standards) but beautiful comfortable. The AC was the only issue. It didn’t cool enough and to our standards. All in all, a great hotel.

The front desk staff, the restaurant staff and the bellmen were all super friendly & helpful. Raffaella was especially wonderful at the front desk! The only reason I would not stay here again is that the mosquitoes are so bad outside the room, that you cannot open the window or use your balcony. The other bummer was that the rooftop pool, bar/lounge area (it’s a shallow wading pool, just fyi) closed at 7:30. It was really disappointing to see 15-20 guests being told that they had to leave the rooftop. It was such a beautiful evening & we would’ve loved to have stayed, had some wine, watched the sunset, etc. Lastly, just a suggestion…I think some dressier clothes/uniform for the doorman/bellman would really dress up the place. They are in tshirts & khaki type pants with casual boat type shoes. They look like they’re going skateboarding. Just a thought! I think it would give more of a luxury hotel feel to be welcomed by a more professionally dressed staff.

W Rome has a wonderful vibe - Luxurious but hip and modern at the same time. The rooftop dipping pool was particularly useful on hot summer afternoons. Loved the room and the bathrooms as well.
