Scenic, comfy and affordable
Cedar Lodge is around 30-40 mins drive from Aspen, so we booked it during President's day long weekend and the stay at Cedar Lodge was comfy and affordable.

This place is great. Awesome views. Nice staff. The kitchenette/apartment style "rooms" are enormous and have lots of really good amenities for cooking, eating and relaxing so you can save quite a bit of money on a longer trip.

With all the good reviews I was surprised to pull up to a dark lot and an old room. It was a good value for the money, but nect time ill spend more for a nicer place. It needs upgrades like crazy.
