    off a turnpike - not close to restaurants

    Was okay - the room smelled like heavy cleaning solution, as if someone had been smoking in there and they thought that by perfuming EVERYTHING that would mask the smell. Not really close to anything. The town of Jim Thorpe is very charming - I would pay more to stay closer to it.

    Hotel was fine, Hotel.com, not so much

    Our stay was fine. Hotel.com was not. I did not get to redeem a night. I did get credit for a night so I now have 2 free nights and a 1 night credit toward a 3rd night. Not sure what good that does when they did not allow me to redeem one of my nights. When I called I was told she couldn't help me but I could cancel my reservation if I wished.
