Friendly, clean & affordable
They must have improved a lot over the past year because I didn't experince any of the problems I had read about in past reviews. The staff were friendly & helpful, the room was clean & looked newly refurbished .A little of the the motel's age showed thru in spots, but what do you expect for a classic motel? Easy enough to get downtown, and to food/ bars. It was one of the cheaper places in town as well, so I thoroughly enjoyed the 2 nights I spent there.

I am a low maintenance traveler - I just need a clean bed and shower and I can make it work. This place was so disgusting that I left and found somewhere else on one of Nashville’s busiest travel weekends. Wish I listened to the reviews. The floor was sticky, the sheets dirty, the mattress severely discolored, the lock breaking. Unsafe and filthy

Toilet seat did not flush, found a huge dead roach on the floor as we walked in. Cigarette smell made me sick the next morning. Asked for a different room, front desk said they didn’t have any. Even though they had a sign that said..”ROOMS AVAILABLE “!

A roof over your head
The location is really convenient. Front desk staff was nice at check in. The motel looks nice and good shape from the outside. I opened the door to my room and immediately questioned my decision to even stay. The smell of cigarette smoke lingering. The room was DIRTY. The sheets may or may not have been changed based on the hairs in the bed. The towels were like sandpaper. The bathroom ceiling fan did not work and was falling from the ceiling. Mold all around the shower! When showering water was literally leaking out of the wall, apparently causing the mold. at some point a car behind started and exhaust fumes filled my room from the wall a/c. Cigarette smoke was coming into the bathroom from the non functioning fan. I had to close the bathroom door. Checked for bugs, when I lifted the mattress there was a large blood stain. Stains on the full lenght mirror, stains all over the walls. The bed was very comfortable though.

Smoke out
Everything was just fine. Except that the room was overrun by smoke smell. I felt like i was smoking a cigarette just breathing in there. I left the door open and fan on for the first hour i was there. That did not help. I left a couple hours ago and notice that all of my clothes and my bag reek of stale cigarette smoke.
