Does not look much from the outside as it quite a functional exterior - but the interior is in great condition, clean and tidy - food was good quality if a little expensive by uk standards however in line with Iceland prices. Reception was quick and dealt with queries quickly.

1st time to Iceland and this was a nice hotel for my 6 night stay. Close enough to the city center, (about a 20 minute walk), yet far enough away to be quiet. Yes, I saw the auroras from the hotel parking lot on 2 nights. The staff was nice, the hotel is kept very clean, and the restaurant has a very good cheeseburger. All of the tours I utilized picked me up from the hotel, and it is only a 10 minute walk to the BSI bus terminal when you need a transfer to Keflavik for a flight. When I come back to Iceland I will be staying at this hotel again.
