Rude service
I had a disturbing interaction with a hotel employee. I entered the hotel at 00:20 on Sunday September 24. There was no visible security - and no card swipe needed to open the door - but apparently there was a hotel employee wearing a black T-shirt with no name tag or other identifying marks sitting in an armchair some distance from the main entrance. (But not in a place where he could actually intercept anyone). Apparently he noticed me some time after I entered and… he thought I looked suspicious, I guess. I’m guessing he thought I was a deliveryperson because I was carrying some takeout. So, without getting up from his armchair, he started yelling: “MONSIEUR! MONSIEUR!!”. I heard the racket as I was about to reach the elevators and turned to see what was going on. He kept yelling at me and gesturing with his arms that I should come over. I asked him what was up. He did not reply; he kept yelling and gesturing. Also, he made no move - at this point or any other point - to get up from the armchair and come to me. Eventually I was tired of the racket so I went over to him. I saw that he was wearing airpods and listening to some music - so I guess he could not even hear me asking… I repeat: these were regular airpods, not security intercoms. When I was right in front of him, he very slowly and ponderously took off his airpods and addressed me. He asked me: “Who are you visiting?”. At this point I guess he noticed that I was holding a key card in my hand. So, with no other word
