Great location, comfortable room. It’s a great hotel but the weekend we were there it was fully booked and only one elevator was working. And really no useable stairway evident as an alternative to the elevator. We tried one stairway that was close to the elevator and it took us down into some basement area that left us spooked so back up and waited for the elevator . The location is amazing, it’s right on the river Thames and right next to tower bridge with the Tower of London beside it. One of the docks for the river cruise is right there at Tower Ridge, so one day we caught the boat and went down to Greenwich. (I got A really good deal for three day ticket for the river cruise on Groupon ). I highly recommend this boat trip! it’s really interesting and then when you get to Greenwich make sure you to have time to tour the Cutty Sark. It’s been beautifully restored sailing boat and is a fascinating exhibit. there is a very comfortable bar in this hotel that overlooks the river and tower bridge. At night it is stunning .

The hotel is good, overall. The bed could have been more comfortable. Not wanting my room serviced, I left the "do not disturb" light on. I came back to my room on the third night and the light was off. I entered my room, nothing had changed. I called down to find out why my room had been entered and long story short, did not get a call back. Two days later, same thing except my room had been serviced. When did "do not disturb" start meaning "come in and service my room even though I asked you not to"? :(

Right next to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge
Thrilled to arrive and note location, facilities and access to tube/bus. Staff very efficient and eager to assist.

London Getaway
Great location. Lots to see and do in the area. Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palacea short walk away, and of course the Thames walk. Hotel could use a little spruce up. Peeling wall paper in our room with small amount of worn and chipped paint. If they offer you room 1053 change for another as this room has a metre wide window on the river side and the other rooms have 2-3 times the window view. I would stay there again as it is a very nice location and close to the tube
