There were a lot of activities to keep our 3 year old busy but the property can use a major facelift. The bathroom was very outdated and the beds very uncomfortable. The staff at the front desk was not very friendly or helpful. A lot of the facilities open late are not always open at the time they state they will be.

Not a lot to like here. Dated decor and the staff was un responsive and rude. Parking is a country mile away - down the road and across the street from the lobby with no hotel assistance to get there. Its all up hill. When my grandfather complained a very obese employee there tried to pick a fight with him using profanity. He got the same treatment back. Challenging a guest to a fight?? My grandfather is disabled. We booked through Expedia. The Hotel staff told us when we complained and asked for the golf cart to bring my grandfather to the front desk - no concession would be made! They said "due to booking 3rd party no concession will be made". The room was 154 - about 150 yards from the front desk UP HILL! My grandfather is on disability and nearly had to go to the hospital as he was out of breath. Heart attack occurs about 2 hours after physical exertion. I feared he may have a heart attack all night. The hotel staff was incompetent. If you are disabled stay the hell away from here and go elsewhere and spend your hard earned dollars.

The outside was pretty, the service in cafe was great but very limited menu. Restaurant open for very limited hours. Hotel needs serious updating and renovating. Line to check in was 30 people deep-took forever…only 2 woman checking people in…they both took forever-no efficiency whatsoever..I saw other employees in and out of check in area but no one pitched in to get the huge line checked in.

Nice.property. Clean. Front desk help very helpful. It is an older hotel, but I am glad it has survived the decline of the Borscht Belt.

It is a beautiful place like if you are on the Cruize ship. Very good food and great entertainment. Beautiful dining room inside jacuzzi and pool and outside have a hot pool, a warm pool and 2 cold pool. Water slide, pool parties and nice music all day on the pool and inside the building. Room are big and very comfortable with all convenience, you have to be there to experience this classic place. The building inside appearance is beautifully design. Large fourteen in front of the building before you entering. Picnic tables on the land.it so much things to do a well design program to enjoy.

At one time this was probably amazing but there has been major neglect. Mostly cleanliness, found prior guest’s clothing in closet, dead flies in between windows and screen, public restrooms were bad.

It has the potential to be a great resort for families looking to spend some time together. However, it seemed they were short staff, which affected our entire stay - from cleanliness of the facility, to activities, to places to eat. The food in the one restaurant (Roman Garden Cafe) was surprisingly very good but service was very slow. The waitresses were doing as much as they can and as fast as they could- totally not their fault. Activities were often closed when they were supposed to be open and shows/other scheduled activities seemed to just not happen without any warning. I purchased an Activity booklet with 25 tickets and didn’t even get to use them all with a family of 5. Most, but not all, of the staff we did encounter was not very friendly. All in all I would like to go back once employment situation is better.

This is a great family resort that offers a ton of daily and nightly activities. It can use some property updates, but overall it’s a great place to stay.

    A fun if imperfect time

Didn’t love: “Blue Lives Matter” paraphernalia on display in the gift shop window; lack of mask requirement/crowd control; finding dirty items in the room upon checkin; extreme noise transfer from the room above us; styrofoam/plastic takeout containers and pool drink cups instead of reusable; lack of blackout curtains. Loved: activities; entertainment; kids’ pool features; horses/goats; daily turndown service; customer service at pool, restaurants, check-in; nearby activities: Diehl Farm, Apple Pond Farm.
