    Had a wonderful stay! Greeted with mango/cranberry juice and a cool towel. The room was clean and modern. Very friendly and helpful staff. The location was amazing!! Chinatown and Hawker centre just steps away. I would recommend this and stay again!

    Great boutique hotel!

    Picked this place for price and location. Super close to Maxwell Food Centre (hawkers) with a famous chicken rice stand that Anthony Bourdain went to (highly recommend it if you can wait in line for 10-20min). It’s practically across the street! Very close to Chinatown and a decent walk to the MRT. I’d recommend a taxi to get here from the airport unless you can walk in blistering humid heat for 10-15min and your luggage. Rooms are very clean and super cool that they used to be a bunch of stores that got renovated into a hotel. Each room is slightly different. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Especially Emily, she was very attentive to all our needs and excellent customer service. Our bathroom in a 2 twin beds room with “no window” was very spacious! The room was on the ground floor and had a kind of basement window that gave us natural light to tell if it was day time or night time. Entering the beautiful and cool/cold lobby was always pleasant especially when it’s 30-35oC outside and coming from Canada where it’s usually not that hot, was very comforting. Check in was pleasant with a cold towel too. To help cool me down and dripping with sweat. The AC in the room was pretty good overall. We set it to 22-23oC and had a good nights rest. The fridge also worked and they had plenty of room to put our stuff in there! Unlike other cheaper hotels in Singapore... they also gave us 2 bottles of water each day! Again some cheap places don’t do it.

    Ups and downs

    Ups and downs . Some staff were super attentive and helpful but on the other hand room was serviced once throughout my stay . Notified reception where there is only a one in five chance of getting through . Hotel has style and the rooms are well decorated. Bathroom modern and spacious.Gym equipment in disrepair. Definitely room for improvement.

    No last minute booking

    Booked last minute for halloween night through hotels.com. On the app, it says 2pm check in. But when I reached they say the room was not ready and blamed on my last minute booking. The staff asked me to wait for another 15-30min. If the hotel is not able to cope with last minute bookings then they should close to not receive bookings. Nevertheless, i went off for 1hr errand and back ,only to tell me to wait for another 15 to 30mins more. Ofcourse, by this time I am furious. Only, when i re-iterate my point that 1hr plus has passed and the hotel is not able to honor their word, then i eventually got my room after.
