When we arrived, we had difficulty finding the proper location for our check-in. We parked at the bottom of the hill and searched (with our luggage) for the check-in counter.
Our reservation did not specify anything about that location.
When we finally found the location (at the top of Place St-Bernard), it was un-staffed. we managed to get someone (on the phone) and she told us to come back down the hill as the check-in counter was half way down the hill.
After getting there, our room was NOT Ready and we had to leave our luggage in a temporary location.
To add to our displeasing experience, we were 'forced' by the resort staff to park our car in the underground parking (at a cost of nearly 25$ per night.
Therefore, we had to walk back to the bottom of the hill to get our vehicle move it to the underground parking.
After verification, we have found that our car was parked in the proper (free) parking lot.
Therefore, the staff insistence in having our car parked in the underground parking lot was 'UNJUSTIFIED'.
To us (my wife and I), this was a money grabbing method to get an extra 25$ from us (and without any benefit to us).
Overall, this made our visit to Mont-Tremblant less pleasant and we would like to forewarn future travelers to avoid 'Place St-Bernard' if they could.
Note: We had experienced other facilities(in and around Mont-Tremblant) and we have been truly satisfied.
We hope that this complaint will help Mt Tremblant staff improvement.
