The room was clean and tidy. It was a bit noisy but that's not the hostel's fault. One thing was the automatic shut off in the bathroom, if you are having a shower it's a little disconcerting to have the lights suddenly go out. Also, if you could give out more than one card per room that would be great.

Pleasant stay, could just use a little more upkeep
This was my first time staying in a hostel and it was definitely better than expected. Nice modern rooms and comfy beds for a hostel. The toilet paper ran out in one of the room's 2 bathrooms so all 8 of us could only use one bathroom for over a day, wet mats in shower rooms were kind of gross, and elevators were down for the whole stay so I had to climb 5 floors but felt worse for people on the 9th floor. It also put a damper on my stay that a man in the room was shouting on the phone at 3 am, then woke up at 4:45 to shower and pack and leave, but that's not the hostel's fault. Still great value for money, staff were great, met friendly people around my age and very convenient location for walking around the city.

NOT Recommended
My husband and I stayed there 3 nights. The room is extremely small, has only 1 double bed, 1 laptop size table top, 1 tiny wooden chair. Tiny washroom has no fan. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, 2 nights in a row. No announcement over speaker, nor advice from staff. Midnight drunks knocked at doors, few times in the middle of the night. Not security guards, nor security camera.

Night before a flight to Halifax, NS (Canada)
Completely adequate shared accommodations for a reasonable price. Room, bed, linens, W/C, sink and shower were clean. My only complaint was the laundry. Be sure you bring plenty of 20p pieces. Desk staff have limited change. Pound coins did not seem to work in washer despite several attempts and only 50p pieces were accepted by the dryer.

Had a bit too much fun
One of the folks at the front desk was SO RUDE to everyone. The room was a little cramped for 4 people, but it wasn't too bad. Huge thanks to them for having a fantastic security team that escorted out the person that followed me home from the bar though!
