Rooms need renovating
We had stayed here prior to the pandemic and thought it was actually a decent hotel, especially for the price. We stayed here again this weekend because the hotels downtown were sold out for the boat show. I’m not sure if it was just our room or the whole hotel is getting older but we were really surprised at how run down looking everything in our room was. Our bed didn’t even have a bedskirt on it - just a metal frame with sheets/blanket. Looked like a college dorm or summer camp bed. Light bulbs were burned out on the wall scones. The bathroom had yellowish brown spots all over the ceiling… not sure if it was a type of mold or what it could have been. The exterior of the refrigerator was either all marked up or really dirty - not sure which because I wasn’t going to try to clean it. The staff at check-in and check-out were very friendly. Unfortunately, even with the great price compared to downtown hotels, we won’t stay here again. I didn’t think to take pictures because I don’t usually write reviews.

This place feels like Motel 6. Awful overall.
This place is horrible. It feels like you are staying in a Motel 6. Supposed to get a non-smoking and smoke was the first thing I smell when I walked into the room. The bed was a full size that looks like a twin bed. The bed was made awful. You can see the metal feet. The whole room looks like you are inside a jail house. I walked out and checked out and went to another hotel down the street (Hampton Inn). Not to mention, the lobby was horrible. Credit card machines wasn’t working. My card kept getting declined and used multiple card scanned and all along it was their system. Guest that was going in and out look like they were on drugs. Just awful.

Kitchen Room cleanliness
We were very excited about our trip to celebrate our daughter. Upon arrival we happily greeted and happy until we walked into the assigned room. We were told that the 3rd floor used to be a smoking floor 2 years ago. OK, but it smelled like someone smoked there the day before. The next room was better, but still had a bad smell. The room was clean, but nothing like it states in the lobby and website. It was a suite with a kitchen, but had nothing in it. No supplies, soap, utensils, plates, bowls, cups, kitchen towels, not even a coffee maker. We had to ask for them all and it took over 3 hours to get them. The bathroom door didn't lock and my husband was eventually handed a screwdriver and he took the metal piece off so it could lock. The beds were rocked hard and the sheets barely fit. Breakfast was a joke. It was a grab and go. The coffee was alright, but the food offerings tasted old. I paid way to much for two nights for this "hotel", which felt like a motel. I'm extremely disappointed and don't recommend this place at all.

Vile!!
This place is filthy. Our bathroom was caked it scum and the shower didn’t even have a curtain. I could go on and on. The room was not even ready a 3:45pm and we had to wait for them to find another room to put us in. There were holes in the drapes, wet plaster on a patch on the wall. The refrigerator was covered in stains. The sink had 2 holes on the countertop

The place was filthy. We bought cleaning supplies and cleaned but the mold was too much. Complained to the night manager and asked for a refund due to having severe asthma triggered by mold. She ageeed to refund but then refused to speak with Expedia when they tried to get her approval. NEVER STAY HERE, ITS A HEALTH HAZARD!

Awesome home away from home. We booked 2 rooms and both rooms were comfy and clean. They provided kitchen cook wares as requested. The staffs Were very helpful and professional. Free on the go Breakfast great for our need. Quiet community. We'll stay there again.
