Overall, hotel experience was excellent. Very easy to get to from the airport via the Metro subway. Line 9 till it ends switch to Line 3 and get off at Parallel stop and its one block away. You can use this Parallel station during your stay to get to within 2 blocks of anywhere you want in the entire city via the train system. Greeted by very friendly professional staff. Throughout my entire stay there was always staff on duty at the desk for any needs. In my case I arrived 4 hours early and a room was made available for early check in, although that may have been seasonal luck as January is not a busy month. Room was very well maintained and clean. Complimentary water bottle waiting on desk. Programmable safe in room to story important items. Balcony door opens up to let in fresh air. I was impressed with the amount of natural sunlight in the room even with the balcony facing an alley way. Only thing I would change is the mattress was two singles pushed together making it especially solid right in the middle of the mattress, so you need to sleep on one side or the other. Mattress was a little firm as well, maybe normal for this region? Either way it was more than sufficient and not bad enough to complain about, but it was noticed. Plenty of supermarkets and restaurants just outside the hotel doors. Overall 9/10. GREAT QUALITY hotel, great value for a great price, I will be back.

Hotel location was perfect. It was approx 10 minute walk to La Rambla, 15 minute walk to Port, 15 minute walk to Gothic Quarter and approx 5 minute walk to metro station were we were able to get the train to La Sagrada Familia and Park Guell. The hotel staff were very welcoming, friendly and were very helpful; providing us with a map and circling the tourist attractions for us to visit. The hotel was clean. The rooms were very small. There was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which would have been a nice extra. The surrounding location was great, close enough to walk everywhere, but far enough to be away from the noisy hustle and bustle. The hotel itself however, was very noisy. All night long you could hear people moving chairs around, the room doors slamming every time they closed and you could hear people talking through the walls! Overall, a very pleasant stay!
