Clean and tidy with excellent breakfast
Very well presented, friendly welcome and nice clean room with a view of the castle. Although it was a bit of a walk to the centre, we were glad to be staying here so we could also experience this part of Lisbon. The room was clean, nice hot shower and an excellent breakfast. The receptionist happily booked us a taxi back to Lisbon Oriente station and there's a nice little lobby to wait in.

Hotel is accessed on a side street. Easy to reach local areas by foot. Buffet Breakfast, plentiful, always replenishing. Rooms lovely, clean and comfortable. Trams, buses and Metro easy to use if you want to visit places further afield. Will definately stay here again

Better than most
This hotel is more thoughtful in terms of room features - they actually have top sheets! The room was clean and efficient, albeit small. The breakfast was also very good. The only real complaints is that the doors aren’t soundproofed, and the receptionists were not welcoming. They weren’t rude, but most of the time they avoid eye contact with you, and speak so coldly that it was a bit awkward. Overall, the neighborhood was intriguing and authentic, and I was more comfortable than other hotels. I would stay here again.

The hotel is very cute and it is far closer to the core of the city centre than I expexted to be. For instance, Cathedral is 15 mins walk, tops. The nearby area is a wee bit rough, but not dangerous or problematic. Only wee issue we had was that, over night, there was a signficantly loud noise coming from outside, like the one a big fan would produce. What we guessed is that the noise was made up by all the a/c external fan units of all the rooms. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Clean and well serviced hotel
Great hotel and definitely does not seem like a usual 2 star. Varied and plentiful breakfast. Clean rooms and serviced well. Have seen other comments about the area and would agree that it can be a bit intimidating late at night but it was manageable and we did not experience any problems. Travelled with my teenage daughter. Reception staff were extremely helpful!! Would stay here again.
