This was our third time back. The space was perfect as usual but it was not as clean (if you looked at the kitchen floor closely, it needed a good mop) and the unit had bathroom soap but no toilet paper refills and the kitchen did not have dish soap, paper towel or dishwasher tablets until we asked the front desk.

Great location, super staff, poor stair maintence
It's a good hotel right close to the ski hill and vetta Nordic spa. Room was slightly dated but pretty well maintained. Very clean. Had a small fridge, utensils plates coffee maker ect so if you were going skiing it would be super simple to come back and make some sandwiches or something. Shower and bathroom were specious. Staff was awesome and polite My big concern was the snow maintenance. I know Barrie and surrounding area got a tonne of snow but the stairs to the room (outdoor walkup, third floor) was not shoveled. It was compressed snow with sand on top. It was a bit slippery and I really had to take my time and ensure I didn't fall. You also had no access to the balcony because they didn't clear the snow off it. That I could give a pass but the stairs were hazardous.

upkeeping the furniture
I've stayed here in the past and the Staff were super friendly and nice. However, the units we stayed in was pretty run down. The dining room chairs felt wobbly and i fel like we were going to break it by just sitting on it. The dining room table was also wobbly. For the amount I paid to stay, i felt that a hotel would have been a better way to go.

The 1 bedroom king suite with full kitchen was perfect for a family skiing weekend. Everything we needed! The suite was clean, comfortable and cozy - the gas fireplace was just the thing for warming up after a day playing in the snow.

I wouldn't call it a hotel. There was no housekeeping the steps were slushy and icy, no ice, no vending machines, no workers around after 10, nothing in the area to get drinks or any kind of food. But with that being said its good for people from the city for an outdoor getaway but definitely not for me. Would have been different if every room had a fridge and somewhere to cook. We made the best of it but wont be back. I would just stay in Barrie which is only 15 minutes away.

Awful Night
We stayed in a two bedroom suite which wasn't two full bedrooms, just two sleeping areas. The room was clean but that's the extent of the positives. The beds were rock hard, we might as well have been sleeping on the floor. To make matters worse the room had something beeping in it that would beep every 5-10 seconds. That kept us up all night. Very annoying. Would never go back.

The stay was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The slope so close. The pool was very nice, however the children pool can be a little bit warmer, and I miss the family changing room.

Great space, close to the Nordic spa and ski resort. The suite was very spacious, the tub was great and so were the jets. The 2 downsides were: 1. We found a sock under the couch next to the bed + the tub needed some cleaning 2. We wanted to stay another night and saw options on hotels.com and other sites but they said they were all booked and didn't give us an option for a late check out (early check out time at 10am and late check-in at 4pm) Other than this, we had a great time.
