Very disappointing
Hotel is beautiful & rooms are clean, spacious & perfect. The service did not match. Lunch was nearly impossible to get service, once we did it was a 2.5 hr wait. Even then only half of our order was served. Server was overwhelmed & managers made it worse. The drinks we order were awful. My Moscow mule was lemonade?! Eventually a manager visited us like so many others & told us our lunch w was free due to poor service & wait. I never signed or saw a bill but it was on my bill at Check out. Again more wanting yo correct it & to this day I don’t think they ever cheated it up correctly. Our service at Bacan was better but we did have a waiter accidentally dump a beer on my friend. Service at the living room bar was not friendly & bartenders stared at us helping others that arrived after us. Also very pricey for a small average tasting drink. For the price & venue I expect much more. Our iPad room service button did not work either. Lots to be desired but the hotel itself is top notch.

Nice hotel and need of better service
Great hotel, but service could’ve been better. Didn’t have daily housekeeping, so you needed to request it, which we did. However, despite multiple requests housekeeping didn’t come, leaving us without towels after a long day at Universal. We then had to call again a couple of times, taking another hour before we at least had some towels. However, the actual hotel aas beautiful.

At check in our room was not available, so we got downgraded, with a promise of price reimbursement.By checkout, I had to ask about the reimbursement, since I have not heard or see any updates in my card records/statement, then I was informed that we had complimentary breakfast, that everybody failed to mention. I am writing this review 2 days after check out, and still have no credit from the hotel on my card. The AC in the room, stay on all day and night never reaching the set temperature. Also got charged twice for valet parking, and had to address it, after he had already left.

Its as nice as the Peninsula. Rooms are fab w ipads, Toto electric toilets, electric shades, mood lighting. Great area around the hotel, too. Big upgrade for Orlando MCO hotels.

State of the art property. I believe this property was finished like about one month ago. It's a kind of future and technology luxury resort. Bacan was fabulous and excellent food. Employees were so nice. Give 10 stars
