    Not impressed

    We weren’t impressed. I didn’t take pictures, but the shower wasn’t very clean, still had some dirt in it. The pool and hot tub outside were standard. There were guests outside smoking pot and we left due to my asthma. Went to tell someone, but no one was at the front desk. Very disappointed.

    Bed Bugs

    This was a girls trip to Myrtle Beach to go to the Legends show. We wanted to stay close to Broadway at the Beach convenient to the show, dining and shopping. We selected this hotel based on reading reviews compared to some of the other hotels. When we checked in we were only in the room an hour or so before we left to go to the show. Later that night when we went to bed one of the girls saw a bed bug crawling out of her pillowcase. I was in the other bed and about the same time i saw one crawling on my top sheet. I jumped up out of the bed and they were crawling all in my bed under me. I noticed i had been itching ever since i had got in the bed and then realized why. One of the girls went to the front desk to tell the night auditor. She was very nice and changed us to another room. At 2 a.m. in the morning we had to move our belongings down the hall to another room. Needless to say, we were upset not knowing what we would find in this room. We checked it the best we could and decided to stay. We had debated on just driviing on home to Statesville, N.C. but decided it wouldn't be safe that late with three sleepy ladies on the road. However, we didn’t get much sleep worrying about bugs crawling on us. I talked to Debbie, the manager at checkout and she was apologetic about the incident and we did get a full refund. However, this does not excuse a room not being clean and sanitary. They advertised breakfast which they didn’t have, only a bag and go, at a vost of $169.00.

    Room 209 had mold in the shower the bathroom door was difficult to close and at night there was a bad smell in the room like old garbage or sewer smell. I could not tell where it was coming from.

    One of two beds had a sunken mattress. Dirty sheets on one of the beds. Two of the four towels were dirty. No one could be found at the front desk to address.

    Unclean rooms & Hotel

    The floor of the elevators were filthy, the lamps and dressers were dirty, The refrigerator was caked with ice around the freezer. I saw roaches in the room on my last day. The bathroom wasn’t clean thoroughly. I went to Iron my pants on the ironing board, the iron started leaking water all over my pants. The staff brought me another iron and that one didn’t work. My overall stay wasn’t very good😡
