Exceptional 10.0
Comfortable place to stay
This was our third stay at The Mad Hatter. It's reasonably close to Southwark and Waterloo Stations, convenient for Globe Theatre and other South Bank activities. The room was very comfortable. We appreciated having the two fans in the room when it was a little stuffy. The free items in the minibar were a bonus. The wifi stinks, though. You (or at least I) could look at some information websites, but when I tried to look up other pubs, or restaurants, or check in for our flight the next day, it kept returning me to the Fullers sign-in page, and there was no way out except to go back to google. Very annoying. But overall it's a really nice place to stay.

Mad Hatter
The hotel was in an excellent location close to the tube station and within walking distance of many of London's sights including Tower of London, St. Paul's, etc. There was a small grocery store across the street which was handy for whatever was wanted or needed. The staff were always friendly. The room was spacious and included nice amenities. A small issue was that the water was supposed to be replaced each day and it wasn't, however, as soon as it was mentioned, the water was put in our rooms. And, the internet connection, for me, wasn't great. Not sure why, but I could never connect for more than a few minutes at a time so it meant a lot of patience on my part if I were doing something that required the internet. Overall, though, definitely a hotel I would stay at again.

Quaint hotel
Our stay was great! The staff in the hotel and adjoining bar/restaurant were wonderful. This is a quaint hotel, just a short walk from the train station over the Blackfryers Bridge. We were able to walk to the Riverwalk area where there's a lot of restaurants, shops and bars, great area! The hotel does not have air conditioning and the room got quite warm, other than that, highly recommend this lovely hotel.
