Come for the View- not the Rooms.
We were excited to stay here especially after seeing the website photos and reviews. We arrived about 6pm to a note at reception saying to find someone in the bar to assist. The poor gentleman had to play double/maybe even triple duty as waiter/reception and check in. Our rooms were very small and the entire hotel needed a face lift and some TCL. Our beds were so old the springs could be felt digging into my back. The shower has a water on demand system and the bath gel bottle was in need of a refill. Holes in walls. The tv remote didn’t work and the view from my window was of some courtyard where I watched employees possibly live or at least “changing” clothes in what seemed to be little rooms for them. This was definitely a situation of “looks are deceiving”. Rooms are dark with terrible lighting and while I appreciate lots of these hotel are trying to recover from Covid- this place needs updating. On the positive dinner was delicious and the staff working did their best. And the bathroom by reception had really lovely wallpaper and the view from the restaurant is mind blowing!

Fantastic Stay at the Glenmoriston Townhouse
We had a wonderful stay at the Glenmoriston. It is convenient to the bus station and tour pick-up locations. The staff is very friendly and go over and beyond to help in any way they can. The restaurant is fantastic, and I highly recommend it. The only negative is that they don't have any lifts. I was traveling with my 88-year-old mother, and she had a little difficulty navigating the stairs.

Well located quality hotel
Srayed 3 nights in a river view room in the main house. Staff food and location excellent. Room was spacious very warm and really comfy bed and good shower. Food presentation is exceptional and the taste matches. Could do with more plant based options. You can hear others in the hotel rooms next to you but its not any worse than many other hotels.

We had a lovely stay at the Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel, the staff were excellent nothing was a bother to them, the bar and restaurant area were very good with lovely veiws of the river Ness, my only minor complaint was that we would have preferred to tray in the main hotel, however this did not impact too much on our stay.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Walls are thin you hear everything and everyone around you. Room was above the entrance so didn’t get any sleep until bar closed because of people coming and going. Would not recommend.
