Stay from the coffee pot!
We spent one night at the Delano, and while I waited an hour in line to register, I my husband went to the bar to buy us a couple of cocktails. $42 later, we enjoyed the waitress and ambiance of the bar but not the price tag. Our room was nice but we were interrupted twice by housekeeping wanting to look at our in room bar and asking when we are checking out. We thought that was strange since as my husband was trying to check out on the TV he found a charge for $12. Somehow they knew that we had used their coffee maker to make two cups of coffee at $6/cup. There was nothing to indicate that charge by the coffee pot though my husband was told that the price was listed on the TV. We could easily have walked to Starbucks and purchased 4 cups of the coffee. Our advice? Step away from the coffee pot! We were told that we could go to the bar at the top of the building to get a welcome glass of champagne. We did so but the bar was so crowded there was no place to sit that afforded us a few of Las Vegas. The our door tables were closed for some undetectable weather reasons. To be fair, the staff was nice, the bed comfortable and we enjoyed the bathrobes and view. The coffee charges mysteriously detected by the billing department left a bitter taste in our mouths as we walked to our parking spot we paid for. It felt like the nicer the hotel the more they need to "Nicke and Dime" you.

Nice hotel but not sure it's worth the price
I stayed at the Delano Hotel & Casino bcs it was the selected hotel of a conference I was attending. Overall it's a nice hotel but much to expensive for what its worth. 1) The hotel charges around 45$/day for resort fees, not included in the price you already paid for w/ or expedia. 2) Also, while most hotels offer complementary coffee & sometimes even a bottle of water (Hilton,...). @ the Delano's they are not included. The prices for the items in room + the mini bar are not marked. The menu is available on a channel of your tv but if your like me and don't have the time to watch one of the 3 tv included in your room you will not see that the coffee cost 6$/ea and that a bottle of water is 15$/ea. 3) As for the hotel room, it was clean and large. I had a powder room and also a large bathroom in my suite. 4) The check-in & check-out were both fast. The staff was also very polite and professional.

A family getaway long weekend.
The suite was very nice and clean with very comfortable beds. Having a second bathroom was nice. The wet bar area was limited in terms of what you could make ( only pod coffee) and the mini bar frig all the items are weighted so if you move one you are charged. The cost of food even in the mini stores were very pricey and the location is far away from other amenities, stores, groceries and getting to the mid strip was a long trip via one free tram and then paying for the monorail otherwise cab or uber was required. We paid a $40 per day US resort fee and the pools were closed. The fitness gym is very nice and well maintained.

Excellent hotel
Room was great. A bit of a rocky check in due to booking on the website and the hotel being full. Nice to be able to walk indoors to the other resorts/casinos in the area.
