Ok, the night I arrived, I was pretty angry. The non-garden facing rooms are UNBELIEVABLY noisy. Yes, it’s CDMX, yes it’s a big city. But OMG. Here’s the problem - because there is no AC (which, for a brand new building in CDMX is bit odd), you cannot leave the doors open at night to cool off as it’s so incredibly noisy. I got used to it - but it took a few days.
I repeat - no AC. This is important to note. Not unusual for CDMX, but a real thing, especially when CDMX has reached 85 these days. I’ve stayed in CDMX many times, and have always had air.
Some of the staff was friendly. However, when I first arrived, the doorman had no idea where an ATM was (I mean - c’mon - that’s the very first question a visitor is going to ask!).
The building is new and beautiful - the rooftop is lovely.
But, the developers should have understood that people booking in Condesa expect at least a little quiet - and not plopped above one of the busiest intersections in town.
They provide fans and earplugs - and a garbage noise machine - but nah.
There are MUCH better options in Condesa for the price.
Look elsewhere, unless you don’t mind the noise and the heat.
