Not right in Banff but a a very short drive and about a 10-15 minute walk. Very nice reception staff and spacious rooms. Best part was the beautiful view!

    Room for a view

Had an amazing mountain view room. The views make this hotel a great place to stay. The staff were great and happy. The rooms are nice but a little dated in some ways. However you can’t expect hotels to renovate every year. The view when I woke up was more than worth it. Good food in the bistro and a great patio looking over the mountain valleys. Would stay again.

The place itself was beautiful (amazing views and great food), but the staffs were not really kind or helpful. Hot spa was unavailable due to covid-19 (no one informed about this when I made a reservation).

location is nice, a couple mins from the town and its secluded and quiet. The hotel itself should be renovated as it looks very dated and the pictures on the website of the room show the rooms to look more spacey and open than it actually is. Staff was okay, the lady was friendly, however the man called the cops on us for trying to leave the hotel as we did not feel comfortable staying there. The male staff member was very in considerate and we will not be returning here.

    Disappointed

I was very excited to stay at the juniper as I used to stay there all the time when it was the timberline. Upon arrival, we were greated by a nice man and the lobby looked very nice. Once we arrived to our room I was quite disappointed how run down the rooms were. I went to sit on the bed and there was a large rip in our sheets and, what looked like, a blood stain on our duvet. The man kindly moved us rooms and the new room was a bit better but still quite run down. For a hotel that charges $200+ depending on the time of year I was very disappointed. All furniture was very scratched and needed updating, it was very loud, the rod in the closet was broken and just hanging, the shower curtain only had half of the hooks and I know the pandemic is still going on but we couldn’t get any food or drink past 1:00pm. It was snowing quite heavily, and with only patios being open or takeout this was not ideal. Overall, the view is beautiful however I don’t believe they reinvest in their guests experience.
