Clean and Beautiful
We stayed at the Juniper on our way to Calgary from Vancouver. Instead of staying in the town of Banff, we thought the hotel just up the street will be sufficient. It turned out to be a great pleasant surprise. The hotel was small but beautifully decorated. Plenty of parking, and the rooms a very clean and beautiful. Love the wooden floor instead of carpet; great for people like me who are always a bit of on iffy side stepping on hotel carpet. Overall, a great experience. The only minor point is we've got a room that is close to the kitchen, so some point during the morning we can hear a bit of actions/noise; but it was not a deal breaker.

Beautiful views and wonderful staff.
One of the rare places we've stayed in that the thermostat actually works! We had the most beautiful view from our window and balcony of the Bow River valley. The staff were great, the breakfast menu was original (Eggs Benedict with rabbit - yumm) and it had a good vibe. The furniture in the room was not very comfortable and could use refinishing. Cool retro pieces but not in great shape. There are not any public seating areas apart from the Bistro so to relax, it is in your room. We used the chairs from the balcony. Is very close to Banff but enough out of the way that you feel more connected with nature. Would highly recommend! A great stay!
