This is a portion of the old sunscape property. They have done a really good job at updating this resort and making it look nice. They still have fallen short when it comes to the food they serve. It is the same food I have seen for years. I was hoping now that they rebranded the resort we would see some better food options. Overall not to bad but room for improvements.

The property was okay. At check in they didn't tell you much about the property and amenities. Limited number of beach chairs on all three properties. Booked a trip through the front desk and they ended up cancelling the trip as we were waiting on the dock. We were in the lobby booking a trip and my wife fell as there was a puddle of water on the floor. Most of the wait staff were not really as friendly as other places we have been. We were on the beach for large parts of the first couple of days. No one came to us to ask if we needed drinks. A couple of times they just looked at us and then turned away. For dining there were several spots to eat. Service was slow when ordering off the menu restaurants even though the restaurants did not have that many tables. For the buffets many times no plates, bowls, spoons and empty trays of food. Took 10-20 minutes sometimes for them to restock the food. At at Olio restaurant one night. About 1 hour 45 minutes in they said they ran out of pork for our order, had to go get some. Finally got our food and it wasn't fully cooked. Limited choices on the buffets. Other properties we have stayed at have more Entertainment was okay but not comparable to other properties we have stayed at. Most places have their entertainment workers walking around promoting the evenings events during the day. There was little to none of this until the last couple of days. Appear to be understaffed and the staff they do have are not experienced.

Beautiful oceanfront resort. Rooms are nice and spacious. The beach was spectacular !! The food are ok but not so many selections. If you go late for buffet, it’s almost empty. I didn’t like that not all the restaurant are open and have to go to Secrets and Sunscape to have dinner. Waiting time to get dinner is very long bec of the closure and capacity of the resorts. We’ve been going to AMRESORTS in the last 6 years and it’s not the same anymore. They use to have an event every night. Different themes but this year there was only 2 during our stay. Maybe they’re cutting their budget who knows. Otherwise it’s a nice resort with beautiful beach and pool are good.

Dreams!!!, Nightmare... Property was not ready for opening, first three days we had some much moisture on our room floors, we had to put down beach towels to absorb it. The restaurants were very slow service and not open often, only 1 out of 3 at night. The elevator to our building was down 4 out of 7 days, and we were on the 4th floor. The pool was closed for a half day for "photo op". The gym and spa are actually part of their sister resort next door. They however did not make arrangements for the wifi user and password from dreams to operate at these locations. We asked about a room service menu and were told to use the QR code in our room, that was non existent. Had to call several nights for towels and TP that were not restocked. he room keys stopped working one day and had to walk down the 4 flights of stairs and across the property in the rain to have them reprogrammed. The pool staff were great, and we ate at the market cafe at Seascape several times, much better service and open when needed. I'm sure they will give some excuse that they just opened, however I contacted them several times before hand and was assured they were ready.

The rooms that were open were brand new, clean and large. Rooms are not soundproof. Once the full resort opens there will not be enough room for everyone to eat, go to the pool or have a beach chair. Service was super slow but friendly. Nothing to do in the evenings but by the time you finish dinner its super late anyway.
