    Best hotel ever
I have stayed at dozens of hotels all over the world and this was the best I have ever stayed at. The staff are amazing and the food is great.

The hotel had a very musty, closed up smell as you first walked in towards reception area. The breakfast was the worst I have had anywhere in Italy. The Room was clean and bed good

Fantastic breakfast area, superb views. Nicely maintained and clean, but this is an old building....guess what, kind of normal since you're in Rome!

    Family break
Hotel needs renovation and is too far out. The breakfast was very basic and only went on the first day out of four. Also the bar had a musty aroma and was not manned and was not a place for a relaxing drink after seeing the sights. Rooms were clean but needed the bathrooms updating.

A gem in Rome at the Gianicolo Hill
This hotel has been my stop in Rome on the way back from a beach holiday for the 2nd time with its pool hidden among trees and great location at the green Gianicolo Hill, right up from Trastevere. I have to mention my gratitude to the front desk personnel gentleman and the technical person for going out of their way with providing me with a laptop so I can at least sit by the pool while I had to spend my precious summer sun time taking care of an urgent work matter. Some of the service personnel at the restaurant - pool can be moody, giving you a smile one day and showing some attitude the next upon a question, but all in all its a good hotel with helpful staff. I will be back there soon!
