The Marriott Hotel is an iconic building in Warsaw. We were lucky to be put in a double room with the view of the Palace of Culture - it was fantastic. Breakfast was great, it had a large variety, with surprisingly a lot of people. The hotel is 5 stars and we will come back again.

Dated and unpleasant
The hotel used to be impressive in the 1990s. Now it's dated (in the worst sense of the word) and offers very little comfort, instant coffee, and Pringles at 12x market value in the room. The phone did not work so I called the reception from my mobile to ask for slippers, shampoo, and other items for my daughter (since our room for 2 was ostensibly prepared for 1). I had to ask again at the reception desk after a couple of hours. The toilet downstairs is only accessible with the room key, not a great option when collecting your luggage after checkout (and, frankly, what a joke!!!) The staff is mainly demotivated and Ukrainian members of staff are plain rude. The hotel is much closer to 3 stars, definitely not 5.
