Just not kept up well - dog poop in one of the bbq areas things unfinished in bathroom pipes and wires exposed - no hand towels, kleenex, coffee for coffee maker, no extra toliet paper rolls, no lights next to bed, no cups for water.

The staff and check-in were great. Very friendly and helpful. The room and linens were clean. Everything functioned properly. However, the property is dated, repairs were left unfinished, and neighbours clearly heard through the walls. Not management's fault, but expected better property conditions with Wyndham/Super 8 ownership.

Location was excellent for my needs, but no lights on the bed tables, just the overhead. Under the sink in the bathroom everything seemed unfinished, as was wall opposite toilet. I've stayed in other Super 8's and been quite satisfied, but this one was the worst.

Disappointed
I read the previous reviews and thought I would give this place a try. They mentioned that the place had been renovated. Our unit definitely was not. It had the decor and smell of the1970s it reeked of cigarette smoke. It was supposed to be non smoking!

There are new fixtures and furniture. The cleanliness was good. Very little storage, 4 inch diameter hole in the wall between units, bed linens were almost worn out. TV connection had daily glitches. The price of the room was attractive, which I thought was a post-renovation special (yes); but overall it's the same as many tired facilities in Penticton.
