This quaint little Inn is very unique . You feel like you have stepped back in time and are staying with your aunt. The hostess was so welcoming and took us to our room upstairs in the inn. ( cottages also available) We were pleased to see we had a suite! The small living room had a rocking couch and beautiful lamps and books . The bedroom and private bath were cozy and comfortable. The quilts and throws and old pictures added to the uniqueness of the place. The old fireplace was boarded over , and reminded us that it was probably the soul heating point of our suite years ago. The shower was small but truly amazing! In the morning, our hostess greeted us with a smile and freshly baked delicious muffins and hot coffee. We hated to leave this place and plan to return. Good value for your money.

The cabins are very private and enough space for a single or couple to stay in. They're clean and cozy and although you can slightly hear cars as they pass during the day time, it's very quiet at night. The location is a short drive to Acadia National park and Bar Harbor. I highly recommend staying here if you plan on visiting the area.

    Cute little cabin

This is a super cute little cabin, little. While it was fine for us, know that this does not have much space in it beyond the bed (at least in ours). Not sure why they have the ironing board hanging because it actually took up space. But they packed a lot into the space including coffee set up, fridge and microwave so all good. Communication before and during the stay was great and contactless which was appreciated. Appreciate also NOT having a bunch of little shampoos, they have in large dispensers, much better.

    When you’re here you’re family

Arriving here felt like coming home. Everything was clean and cozy. I stayed in a suite in the main building and it was perfect. It’s a bit quirky (the bathtub is in the room) but in the most lovely way. The people that run it welcomed me and told me the best spots to see and treated me like family. Next time I’m in the area I’ll definitely stay here again.

You get what you pay for

Cob webs in bathroom, ceiling fan was filthy and dust bunnies hanging down, rugs were dirty looking and should be replaced. There was lots of dirt under the headboard on the floor and under the bed. Room was cramped but bed was comfortable. The shades on the 2 windows were torn. So don't believe the write up on it
