This property has fallen in the wrong hands. Big business has bought up this area and ruined it and it’s charm. Check in is awful, you go to a different location, stand in a tiny little room filled with people trying to check in, staff doesn’t have any room so they are crawling over each other, the wait to check in is nearly an hour, no matter what time you go. This is because they own so many motels/hotels and everyone goes to a central place to check in. The property has homeless people hanging out all day, TV randomly turns on throughout the day and night due to people trying to airplay to other TVs, bathroom is falling apart, mold everywhere, ceiling falling apart, water goes everywhere when showering. Our key didn’t work when we got to our room the first time and that’s fine, mistakes happen, but it took 25min and 2 calls to get it resolved. I offered to run back to the office which probably would have taken less time but they take forever to do anything. We needed a blanket, tiny little felt blanket and sheet is all that was in the room, 40min process. I had to go 3 blocks, climb back into that sardine box of a reception area, wade through the sea of people, stand while one worker had to help someone else, then run out of the building only to come back without a blanket, then huddle with more staff, who then told me they would bring me a blanket, then finally one of them decided they could locate them, so I got to wait on them to run around the property to locate one.

The location was great! The room was not. The shower had so much moldandmildew in it that we went to WalMart and got mold/mildew remover. I am doing chemo for cancer and I was afraid of showering in that dirty, moldy shower. It was much better after I cleaned it. There is no deadbolt lock on door. Lights flickering all the time due to electrical issue. No dish soap or paper towels in the room. No daily cleaning service. Resort fee was stupid because there were NO amenities.
