Room not ready until after 5pm for check in.
One of our rooms was not ready for check-in until after 5pm, which created problems for our plans. The location of the hotel is very handy, walking distance to the centre of Bristol, and just a few minutes from the main train station. The twin beds were very light, they moved around on their wheels very easily, but were pretty comfortable. Shower was good. Breakfast in the morning (buffet) was good with a number of options and well worth the extra cost.

1 night business
3rd time I’ve stayed here for business. I normally have to book via a corporate booking system and when I got to check in I realised I hadn’t completed the booking. Reception told me there were 0 rooms available, I said I’d pay for any room but I was told there were simply none free, all rooms were being used. I sat down, OPEC’s my app and booked a room in minutes. Went back to reception and the guy looked slightly embarrassed and checked me into my room. Hotel is ideal for business, clean, good service, good food and everything in the rooms have been modernised. Will always stay here when in Bristol as it’s one of the very few hotels with free parking, massive plus!!

New Years Couple Stay 2018/2019
Stayed here with my boyfriend for News Years. From the moment we stepped in it was honestly amazing, from check in to check out! (Also have to say my bf loved the welcome cookie! It’s just a shame it had walnuts in 😕). We had breakfast included in the stay and the food was honestly so good! The staff on the phone were really helpful because we wanted the food in our room and when we’ve stayed in hotels in Bristol before they haven’t let us! The only downside was that we got charged per tray for the breakfast. We stayed on the fifth floor - the view wasn’t amazing but we didn’t care lol. The staff that we interacted with here were honestly so helpful. The hotel provided us with towels, shower gels etc. The location was perfect for us as we didn’t want to stay to far from temple meads but everything we wanted was in walking distance. On the day of checkout, we stayed in the bar until we had to catch our train and honestly it was so cosy. We loved the fact that checkout is at noon! No complaints really! Will definitely stay again when next in Bristol! :)

Lovely hotel nightmare to get to
Lovely hotel but traffic around the centre of Bristol is horrendous, until this is sorted I’ll be staying closer to work.
