Room not ready until after 5pm for check in.
One of our rooms was not ready for check-in until after 5pm, which created problems for our plans. The location of the hotel is very handy, walking distance to the centre of Bristol, and just a few minutes from the main train station. The twin beds were very light, they moved around on their wheels very easily, but were pretty comfortable. Shower was good. Breakfast in the morning (buffet) was good with a number of options and well worth the extra cost.

Very nice, as usual!
Staff people are very kind. The hotel is well located nearby the Temple Meads station easing travelling from one place to another.

Pleasant hotel in good quiet location
Travelled by train and hotel was within walking distance of Temple Meads station. Staff courteous and efficient. Breakfast was good, though food could have been warmer on hot buffet. Friend commented disappointed with choice of meat and cheese on continental buffet; only one of each offered on three mornings we were there. Otherwise, well run enjoyable hotel.

Nice hotel, but request a high floor
I rang the hotel the day before travel to upgrade to King Size room and was promised a room with a nice view. we arrived to find we were overlooking a railway depot and yard, we also had a noisy air conditioning unit outside our window, which started and stopped every 5 minutes this was heard during the night which gave us disturbed two nights sleep, (we were in room 136) I did mention this to reception on our check out, so they removed the upgrade payment I had made for the King Size Bedroom, this didn't exactly make up for two bad nights sleep. Apart from that the staff were great, the food was great and the hotel was spotless. Would we stay again? Not exactly sure but I would request a high floor if we returned
