Excellent Hotel in Sultanamet!
The Sultanhan hotel is old style class in a very convenient location near the Hagia Sophia and blue mosque. Walking distance to Metro‘s and tram lines. Incredibly hospitable staff and excellent breakfast with rooftop view. Would definitely come here again if visiting Istanbul.

Amazing Hotel with a Panoramic View of Istanbul
Sultanhan is a beautiful and classy hotel with helpful and polite staff. The lobby and the each floor are beautifully decorated with antique art and objects taking you back in time. We had a corner room, one side we could partially see Hagia Sophia and the other was the Bosphorus Strait. The room is richly decorated, headboard and closet doors were artistically carved. The shower is marble and its wall has a floral pattern. The best part is to have breakfast on the 6th floor with a panorama view of Hagia Sophia and The Blue Mosque. The hotel is within walking distance to major sights and shopping areas. We highly recommend this hotel.

A Hotel That Has Lost Its Charm.
I booked this hotel for a pleasurable stay with my girlfriend in Istanbul to celebrate her birthday. This hotel is ranked as a 4 star establishment and though the team were helpful and the room we stayed in was good the hotel was unclean and a little shabby. It seemed like it lots its charm a bit and very dated. I also don’t recommend the breakfast none of the products on offer were fresh and actually made me feel quite ill. I also would ask the hotel (If they read this) that if a guest is paying a premium fee of €120 for an airport transfer they should have a nice car with a polite driver. We unfortunately had a run down white van with a miserable driver who was late picking us up. To round up though other then those few problems indicated above our stay was good. The chaps at reception were nice, we had a lovely trip to the Spa and the location is fantastic. Overall 3.5/5.

Great place. Really well located.
I wasn’t expecting much given how reasonable and well located it is; but boy did this hotel blow me away! It is beautiful with an old world charm. It’s location is amazing - walking distance to the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Topkapi, etc with many restaurants right on its doorstep. The staff were also amazing. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t get in until 2am but they ensured someone was there to check us in and help us with our bags. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

Happy with hotel and service received
We turned up at the hotel around 8 am and were able to check in to our room, we were also offered complimentary breakfast in the hotel (not sure if that's because of hotels.com gold status or not) But it was helpful as it saved us a trip to the cafe. We only stayed in the city for 1 night as it was a stopover trip to our final destination but were happy with the hotel's stay and the service received.

Highly Recommend!
We absolutely loved our stay at Sultanhan Hotel. The room we had with a balcony and view of the city was exceptional. The breakfast room with views of the Haija Sophia and Blue Mosque was a delight and served the most amazing assortment of delicious breakfast foods. We loved walking from the hotel to all of the sites in the Old Town area because everything was nearby. It felt safe as well. The service was also amazing and they were very helpful arranging transportation to the airport. i would highly recommend the Sultanhan Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul!
