Kimpton Hotel Palomar Washington DC, Washington

Wonderful hotel, location and staff. Upgraded room which is always nice. However, $26.39 + Tax Resort Fee per night on check out left a bad taste in mouth. Why not be upfront and put it on the original booking fee. This seems a little tricky.

Fabulous, they upgraded us to a suite and that was amazing.

great stay however shower curtains should never be part of hotel design. Change out tub to shower, who needs a tub when they travel ? rather have shower with glass and no curtain

I’ve stayed in kimpton hotels before and was surprised with the condition of this property. I’ve checked in after midnight due to late flight to found out a huge cockrouch in my room. It took more than 20 minutes to find me a new room (Although I was leaving the day after. Any available room would have been ok...). They did offer a breakfast in their hotel restaurant (which was nice, although I hope no insects in that kitchen as well), but I guess I would never stay in this hotel again.

The spa tub leaked into the room’s closet wall and carpet. We noticed this in the morning, reported it and were given another room, though not ready until the afternoon.However, our bags weren’t transferred until we had to ask. We expected atleast an apology from the staff.
