Haha...did not realize shared room. First for everything Noisy at night. Will laugh about this one for awhile😊

Nice location the staff in general are not helpful
Nice location but some of the staffs are really unfriendly and unhelpful. When I asked for information, they just reply "grab the metro" map there and just stop there. When I asked where to buy a rain coat, one of them replied I didn't know. I just bought one from a convenient store 2 small blocks away.

Pretty good, can't complain
Helpful staff, room was clean, good wi-fi, fairly comfortable can't complain. The shared rooms won't be everyone's cup of tea, but my roommates were fine.

Clean, safe, convenient location
Safe and convenient location in the Lower East Side. A friend and I shared a private room on the 3rd floor with 2 queen beds. Room was small but clean and well maintained and the beds comfortable. Bring a small power bar if you have a lot of devices to charge. No desk but the lobby is quiet and there's lots of comfortable seating there if you need to work. WiFi is free and reliable throughout the hotel. No coffee shop in the hotel but lots in the vicinity (the best is the Roasting Plant a block south on Orchard). Keep in mind that this is a busy and noisy neighborhood so don't expect a quiet refuge. There is air conditioning in the room, so you can close the windows but you're still likely to hear the sounds of the street below. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Note that the hotel offers both shared (hostel-like) and private rooms. From other reviews it appears that this was not clear to all travelers. Despite the shared offerings, all clientele we met were quiet and well behaved. It's great that this type of relatively affordable accommodation is available in NYC, and in keeping with the immigrant history of the neighborhood. Overall a good value and a recommended option for an inexpensive stay in NYC.

Good experience
For a hostel condition I had a wonderful experience the staff is extremely kind and the rooms were clean. I am just still waiting my $50 blocked amount for any damaged tangible assets, but I am sure it will hit my account soon

Pleasant stay!
Cute, quaint hotel in Lower Manhattan met all of our needs. I would suggest having more bed covering available, especially during the winter. The thin blanket and sheet wasn’t enough. We had a quad bunk bed room. The beds were comfortable and it was clean. The service we received was excellent. We will definitely be staying here again!

This is far from a 3-star hotel. The condition of the rooms was bad. There were holes and stains on the sheets. This is more like a hostel for traveling college students. It is not a place for families.

Good for the price, but you get what you pay for.
You get what you pay for. Good location in the city if you want to explore off the beaten path of Manhattan. Bare bones on amenities, but a decent place to sleep. If you looking for a cheap place to sleep at night, and don't plan to hang out at the hotel, it's a good option. The staff are friendly and the cleaning staff do an excellent job on cleaning and replacing linens daily.

It’s alright
Well, if you just want to sleep with bunch of other people, share bathroom and sleep in 1 room with 6 females in double bunk bed. Go ahead. But I can find better private hotel with same price 😔
