Paid a lot and it was just ok
Stayed here for 4 days. Our room came with an ocean view with a crazy busy road between our hotel and the ocean. It was so noisy till 4 in the morning but the A/C wasn't available at the time of year we stayed when we asked about it. So the room was so hot and keeping the balcony doors open all night wasn't manageable with all the traffic noise and people outside. Instant coffee in the room and breakfast was just ok. This hotel's location was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. We paid a lot for our stay as it was before the Grande Prix but we left before the weekend.

Get the sea view room
The sea view room is incredible and for sure worth the extra cost. We loved sitting and watching the ocean from our room!

Nice place .. good value
We enjoyed our stay . However I ordered a coffee in the downstairs cafe and it was not drinkable . I left the whole cup because I couldn’t drink more than one sip . I was charged $4 for it even though I told the person making the coffee that it was not good .

Weekend in Nice
Hotel was nice, showing signs of wear. Would have been nice to have a kettle in my room.

Throwback to the 1940s
Classic old hotel, 1940s style.

it’s a trade off for a sea view room.
Lovely hotel room with a sea view. However the price one pays for a room facing the ocean is nonstop street noise and very bright lights which shine directly into the room. So I guess it is a trade off. The location was good though and was an easy walk from the train - right across from Plage Lido.

The hotel is in the perfect location on the sea front our room was very basic though, I know we paid for standard with city view but we got a view of a tin roof and amenities in room were sparse.
