Great location, nice hotel but too dark.

Lovely hotel but room lighting was far too dark to be practical. Everything in the room including the floor is black and lighting is dim and moody and very pointed with small spotlights. Had to pack my bag in the bathroom. Even with the curtains open in the morning the room was so dark!

We were here for 4 nights to see 3 plays including The Tempest at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. So the location was perfect. The hotel was beautifully appointed and showed lots of thoughtful design details which we appreciated.

Quite literally disappointed

I am deeply saddened to say it was a terrible experience and not at all what I expected from a top London hotel. As a guest in a hotel that offers restaurants and bars you expect to be able to use those facilities and services. To be told that if you would like to order a drink with your 5 work colleagues it would have to be in your bedroom is unacceptable beyond words. Very disappointing.
