Damp!
As soon as I arrived and checked in I could see the place was very dated. On walking to my room as soon as I was out of the reception area the smell of damp became stronger and stronger. Upon entering my room the damp smell did not ease off and after putting the heater on for an hour plus no difference was made other than noticing the amount of dust in the air and upon looking under the bed this clearly had not been hoovered properly for some time. The internet is very very poor almost unusable for business purposes and when asked for advice on this was told to sit in front of the reception desk. After a few hours and the damp beginning to flare up my asthma I decided to cut my losses and check in to a branded hotel up the road. Disappointed as restaurant looked lovely.

Travel Plaza Hotel
Has to stay 2 nights on business and Travel Plaza was local. Check in very fast and friendly, room clean and comfortable. The restaurant next door was Indian and was reasonably priced and varied. All the staff at the hotel and restaurant were friendly and welcoming.

my girlfriend and i had a lovely stay in this hotel, the room was very big and so clean the bathroom has amazing smelling shower gel and shampoo. i will be returning here. Great price for money.

Average hotel - other hotels at same price were better. Bathroom floor sunk in one spot which was weird. Asked for fresh milk for room but could not get any until after 6pm - I wanted a cuppa at 4pm.
