The Hotel is in a very lively and convenient area of downtown Portland just 400 feet from Powell’s Books. The staff was very responsive and helped us stay in a quiet room on the top floor. The coffee and tea selection were better than the average hotel and the room itself beautiful and spacious with nice views. We would definitely stay there again!

I booked a room with a private shower. Room was spacious enough to fit 3 people. I enjoyed the amount of space this place provided. Walking distance to Powells and various other shops in town. Parking around hotel can be hard but there is enough down a couple streets. Really enjoyed it here.

The property is historic and in a very good area. Loved the room, along with the beds which were really comfortable and the decor.

8/10 Very good

The room was fairly clean but there was one obvious issue as we noticed the bath wouldn’t drain and there was a large clog of hair that looked like it hasn’t been addressed in months at minimum, which also broke the tub stopper. Outside of that mostly the room was in good shape and the staff has always been polite and easy to communicate with. We do like visiting the hotel on occasion when coming into town, but it is not our first choice but will still most likely remain in the rotation.

The room was very nice overall, and checking in and out was great. The bath/shower never truly got hot, the bed was quite uncomfortable (for us!), and some areas around the walls seemed a bit neglected cleanliness wise. No on-site parking but the U-Park at the bank a few blocks away was great for overnight.
