Good bed
The desk clerk was super rude and very limited in English language! The beds were great but the shower was broken. Only one towel for 4 travelers. Shampoo and lotion bottles were used, half empty. The plug in in the bathroom was burned, very dangerous looking. I messaged these to see if the pool was open. They said yes but we arrived to find a large closed sign.

If he’ll had a hotel
Trash in the hallways, “under construction” for over a year, no pool even though it’s on the website and clearly filled with clean water, they just won’t let anyone in. Bedbugs, filthy bedding, filthy bathroom, one towel in a room for four people. Many people going in and out of a closed wing, “sport bar” sealed off. I should have just listened to my instincts when I saw the unplowed parking area. It’s an unsafe motel: DON’T STAY HERE!!!!!!’

Horrible place
Horrible motel!! We booked the hotel that reasonable price for one night stay for our trip to Chico. They allowed us to check in early around 11am . My daughter told me there isn't any water. We complained to the front desk. She said they are working on it and will be back on in few hours. So, we went on with our trip to Chico. We came back around 6pm and still no water. This time the clerk told us that they have burst pipes and unable to fix it. We wanted refund or pay for our stay in other hotel that have running water. They refused. I understand this is an old motel, not perfectly clean, smell and ton of junks outside the building, but for Pete sake, provide basic need like running water. If you have issue with water, tell your guests upon check in and let them decide whether they want to stay there or not. Once you check in and found out there isn't any water, you can't get refund!! They don't have integrity and liar!! We check out and went to super 8 that have running water!!

DO NOT STAY HERE! Unsafe, dirty, disgusting. There are people living in this hotel and we saw multiple people doing and selling drugs. They did not even tell us that it was under remodel. Couldn't walk in the front door, pool wasn't available, elevator unavailable, lights in our hallway didn't work, no breakfast..... My card was charged twice, PHONE NUMBER DISCONNECTED. Seriously, do NOT stay here.

Decent hotel for the price
I thought the accommodations were commensurate with the price. The windows leaked some cold air, but the room was clean and a couple of the employees went out of their way to help me out. The front desk ocassionally lacks staff, but no big deal if you call the hotel number. Someone reports immediately. It is also the only hotel in Livingston with heated underground parking which was awesome in November. It easily accommodated my 1/2 ton truck.

Hotel staff is very friendly. Rooms are spacious and decent beds. Unfortunately, several times my rooms had no towels, bugs in the rooms like flies and boxelder bugs. Halways always smelled like cigarettes and marijuana smoke and very loud guests in other rooms. Doors do not seal shut so light and noise comes in from the hallway. They're actively working and fixing up the hotel which is good. For the price can't really complain but sokw things need to be addressed quickly.

Avoid
Bait and switch the entire way.... Booked 2 queen beds was given room with one queen... 1 channel on TV... Offered streaming but TV couldn't connect to internet... Restaurant advertised,CLOSED... Pool advertised, CLOSED... no restaurant= no hot breakfast either... Had any of this been actually communicated through either site I'd have booked elsewhere... Every reason I booked w this hotel was either compromised or flat out unavailable... The neighborhood vagrants add a nice touch... I'd always wondered what skidrow looked like and my room provided me with a bird's eye unobstructed view... This is the kind of thing I only thought happened in movies...yet here I am poorer and massively frustrated and underwhelmed....
