The Epitome of Route 66
Great stay, building and rooms are super cute! It's about the experience not the luxury and extra amenities. Friendly staff, right in the heart of the tiny town so close to everything! Great experience

Grand Queen on route 66
We had planned to include some restored original hotels in our route 66 road trip so this was a given that we would stay at the Grand Canyon Hotel in Williams. We were not disappointed!! The hosts are very gracious and the hotel meets all the needs of today's traveller. Well done!

Cowboy Hotel
We called it a Cowboy Hotel because it reminded us of the hotels in the cowboy shows in the ‘50s. Rooms and bathrooms were a bit cramped, and there is a long stairway from the lobby to the rooms. But it has a sort of charm, with themed rooms. Our was the WWI room, with old uniforms hanging on the clothes rack, doughboy photos and discharge papers. Plenty of parking, and easy walks to restaurants and stores.

It was an interesting old building. A switch from the chain hotels we'd been using. They provide good coffee in the morning. Plenty of places to eat within a block or two. Some rooms are brighter than others so ask to look at what's available.

Not bad for the oldest operating hotel in Arizona.

Not so welcoming
We stayed for 1 night, 3 people. Room was very small, about 10 by 10 fit with 3 beds and a sink. mattresses not comfortable. Shared bathroom across the hall but with no sink. So after using the rest room you need to go back to your room to wash your hands. Not very clean.
